Clients & Contacts gives you the option of creating either
a Product Invoice - a Service Invoice or both.
To use the Product Invoice you set up your product data
first as this data is entered automaticly into your invoice
via pop up windows. Select "Setup Product Data" from the
"Invoice" menu.
To use the Service Invoice you simply fill out the form.
Press [Enter] for more

"Create Invoice" this menu item will offer a choice of
Product or Service Invoice.
An Invoice form is displayed. Press [Enter] on the
Company field to bring up a list of Clients. Highlight
the Client to Invoice and press [enter]. Client data is
entered into the proper fields automaticly.
Enter and Invoice number or press [enter] to accept the
default.

Enter a Billing Date. (Todays date is displayed under
Client information.
You now have ten lines to enter either product sales or
services.
If you are using the Product Invoice pop up windows with
a list of your products call be called by typing any
letter into the "Part Number" field and pressing [Enter].
Simply highlight your Product and press [Enter] to include
Product data into your invoice.
Press [Enter] for more
MAIN
Print Invoice. This menu item will offer you a choice of
printing out your Product Invoice or Service Invoice.
You can filter and print out just one, a group or all.
you can also display Invoices on your screen for review
or save them in a text file.

Client List
This select table offers all your clients listed and sorted
by company name.
To enter aclients name in the field, highlight and press
[enter]
To search for a clients name - start typing your clients
company name, and the highlight bar will jump to the
closest match.

Enter your name on the first line.
(Or any name you'd like).
Enter your company name on the second line.
(Or any name you'd like).
If you would like to run your word processor from inside
this program enter the name of your wp in the first
field and the startup command in the next.

Adding Records To Clients & Contacts
From any View Table press [INS] single record or Gray+ batch mode.
You may use as many or as few of the data entry fields as you would
like.
If you do not use the "Company" field or the
"First & Last Name" field your record will not appear in the View
Table.
Records are saved automatically when the Enter Key is pressed on the
last field or by pressing [control + enter] from any field.
Use [page down] to move through the three data entry forms. Or press
ALT+M to select a data entry form from a menu.

The Data Entry Form
Adding Records:
Press Ins or Gray+ from a View Table and the Data Entry Form will pop up.
You will now be able to add records to your database.
After each record is completed it is automatically saved and a blank
record is displayed. When you are finished adding records press ESC
to return to the View Table.
Changing Records:
Highlight the record to be changed. Press Enter. The Data Entry Form will
display the record to be changed. Make any changes you'd like.
Press Control Enter to save changes, and return to the View Table.
Press Control Esc to abort changes and return to the View Table.
Deleting Records:
Highlight the record to be Deleted. Press the Delete Key.
The Data Entry Form will display the record that is to be Deleted.
Press Enter to Delete Record and return to the View Table.
Press Esc to return to the View Table without the Record being
Deleted

Deleting Records
To Delete a Record from your database.
From any View Table highlight a record to Delete.
Press the DELETE Key.
The Data Entry Form will display the Record that is to be Deleted.
Press Enter to Delete Record.
Press Esc to return to the View Table without Deletng the record.

Changing Records
To change the data in a record you have already added to the Database.
Highlight the record you'd like to change and press Enter.
The Data Entry Form will display the record to be changed. Make the
changes needed and press Control + Enter to save changes. Or press
Enter on the last field to save changes. Pressing Esc will return
you to the View Table without saving the changes you made.

Notes & Letters
This option allows you to create form letters and memos.
The notes and letters you create here can be sorted by
either zip/postal code or company name.
Do Not include "Dear" as this is added by the program. But
do include a closing. i.e. "Sincerely" or "Best Wishes"
The title you enter will be displayed in a scroll table
for future use or editing. You may have as many notes -
memos or letters as you would like.

Sort Options
This allows you to filter your letters or memos to a
selected group of clients either by zip/postal code or
client company name.
Letters and memos can be sent to one client, a selected
group of clients or all your clients.

This form allows the sort to be done on company name.
Press [enter] on the Start With field to display a list of
Client names. Highlight a client and press [enter].
This will be the first name printed.
Do the same on the End With field. A letter will be

The Options Menu gives you basic information about your system.

Printer Select
To connect a printer - press [enter] and select the needed
printer list. Dot Matrix for Dot Matrix and Daisy Wheel and
Laser for Laser Printer.
Start typing your printers name and the highlight bar will
move to the closest match. Place the highlight bar over
your printers name and press [enter]. If you printer is
not listed select a "work a like" see your printer
manual for this information.

Printing Reports & Mailing Labels
Select Print Menu from the Main Menu.
A list of Reports and Mailing Labels will pop up. Select the one
you want and press Enter. A Menu will pop up allowing you to filter
your report. The filter fields are case sensitive.
Next you will have the option of sending your report or labels to a File,
the printer or computer screen.
If you are sending the report or label to the printer; you can print
out any number of copies you would like and use any printer connected
any LPT port or Com Port.
If you selected Screen
Your report will be sent to your monitor.
Use the arrow keys to view the report.
If you selected File
You will be prompted for a file name. You
may also include a drive & directory if you wish.

Searching For A File
<F8> Search Memo Field:
Use this function to search for any word or phrase in the memo
field.
All the records that meet your search will be displayed in the
Seach View Table in scroll fashion.
Hot Field Search:
Start typing and the highlight bar will move to the closest match.

This View Table will list all your records by contact date in reverse
order.

Tickler Table
Records are displayed based on the call back option.
(data entry form three)
When a clients record equals or is greater than the
number of days you enter in the "call back" field, the
record(s) will be displayed in this table.

Notes - Form 2
The header of the notes page (data entry form 2) displays
last contact date and number of days that have passed.
This is based on your computers date.
Client company, name, title and telephone numbers are also
displayed.
Freeform notes allow you to enter telephone conversations
or additional personal information.

Tickler - Form 3
To set a future call back tickler, Enter the date of your
last contact with this client. Then enter the number of
days in the future to call on this client.
When the set number of days passes this record will be
displayed on the Tickler Table.
[F8] Will change your computers date.

Select one of the print options and press [enter].
A range selector will help you filter and print only the
client records you want.
You have the option of printing one or many copies to any
printer connected to your computer. Display reports or
labels on screen. Or copy them to a text file.
